Partner
Create an open ideation space for a diverse set of leading stakeholders from public organisations, business, NGOS and urban culture in Berlin and equip all participants with futures literacy skills!
Challenge
On the occasion of the 24th World Conference of the World Futures Studies Federation on 26-29 October 2021, we co-produced our first Futures Literacy Lab with Riel Miller, UNESCO's Chief Futurist and his team. UNESCO's proprietary workshop model enables unique and novel ways of approaching future(s). For this event we created an ideation space to reflect and rethink the role of the city of Berlin as a convener. We explored three domains:
- Common spaces
- Public innovation
- Digital transformation
Our work included the planning, organisation and implementation of the lab while UNESCO was responsible for the FLL discipline, which includes using the right methodology and diverse tools to stimulate participant's imagination.
